Hello there, I’m Erin, and I’m the author behind the words you read here at Selah Journal, a pastor, a wife, and mother raising two teenagers in the Seattle area. I’m so glad you’re here and am truly honored you’re reading.

I love Jesus. Like I really love Jesus. And I also used to rolllll my eyes at people who said things like that. Truly. I would think to myself, Can that even be real? while also secretly harbor jealousy and longing. Would God want to meet me like that? But then God met me. I mean, there’s so much more detail to the story than that, but through some sweet moments of God sort of introducing Himself to me in a whole new way to actually being met by God through suffering and hardship.

Why am I sharing this with you? Because I want the same for you. I want every inch of your heart to be met by the One who loves you deep. I want you to taste and see just how freaking good He is. I want you to know the crazy wonderful joy you can live your everyday life in by the Spirit.
